The Supreme Court of India heard Petition for Special Leave to Appeal No. 38378/2025 filed by Delta Limited against Sanat Roy & Ors, arising from the High Court at Calcutta's final judgment and order dated 09-02-2024 in MAT No. 319/2024. The matter was listed for hearing on 13-08-2026 before a bench comprising Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah and Hon'ble Mr. Justice R. Mahadevan. Due to paucity of time, the Court could not take up the matter and issued an interim order on 08-12-2025 to continue the proceedings until the next date of listing. The next hearing is scheduled for 13-10-2026. Several interim applications (IA No. 299002/2025, IA No. 299000/2025, IA No. 299004/2025) seeking condonation of delay, refiling, curing defects, and permission to file additional documents/facts/annexures were noted.
