Surakshit India Awards 2026 – Nomination Launch

IIRIS Consulting, described as India’s foremost risk consulting organization, in partnership with The Times of India, has announced that nominations are now open for the Surakshit India Awards 2026. The awards constitute a national‑level initiative linked to the Secure India Summit (TSIS 2026) and will recognise contributions across 19 distinct categories that cover workplace, public‑space and cyberspace security.

Purpose and Scope

The awards aim to bring visibility to individuals and organisations that safeguard lives and property, thereby supporting India’s development agenda of a "Surakshit Bharat, Viksit Bharat". They provide industry benchmarks and overdue recognition for security personnel, fire‑fighters, and entities delivering secure campuses, resilient infrastructure, trusted technology, and related solutions.

Award Structure

The 2026 edition is divided into four broad groups:

1. Safe & Secure Excellence Awards – for secure business campuses, manufacturing facilities, hotels, shopping complexes and Made‑in‑India security solutions.

2. Fire Safety Excellence Awards – for organisations demonstrating best‑in‑class fire safety, preparedness and response systems.

3. Cyber & Information Security Excellence Awards – for institutions that have implemented robust cybersecurity measures protecting India’s digital framework.

4. Bravehearts Awards – honouring security guards and firefighters whose acts of bravery have protected lives and property, with the highest level of financial and other benefits.

Nomination Process and Timeline

Nominations are accepted until 1 December 2026. Eligible achievements must have occurred between 1 October 2025 and 1 October 2026. Participants may nominate their own campuses, facilities, products, services or client initiatives. For the Bravehearts Awards, nominations can be submitted by employers, supervisors, fire departments, or as self‑nominations accompanied by a letter of authorisation from the nominee’s current organisation.

To nominate, entrants must visit www.secureindiasummit.com, register for the chosen category, download the nomination form, complete it and upload the form together with supporting documents. Shortlisted candidates will engage in a virtual interaction with the jury before final selection.

Award Ceremony and Summit

The award ceremony will be held on 18 December 2026 at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi, forming a major highlight of the Secure India Summit (TSIS 2026). The summit convenes government representatives, military, law‑enforcement agencies, industry leaders and security experts to discuss emerging threats and collaborative safety measures.

Comments from Organisers

Garry Singh, President of IIRIS Consulting, stated that unlike most industry awards which focus solely on companies and leadership, the Surakshit India Awards adopt a 360‑degree view, recognising people, processes, technology and ideas, and that the Bravehearts Awards provide the highest level of financial and other benefits to security guards and firefighters.
