Contract Details
Suzlon Energy Limited has secured its maiden 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power Limited. This marks Suzlon's third DevCo-led wind order across two states: Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.
Project Specifications
The project will be executed at Limbawas in Madhya Pradesh. Suzlon will supply 64 of its flagship S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. With this order, Suzlon's flagship S144 platform has surpassed 10 GW of sales milestone in cumulative orders.
Scope of Work
Suzlon will execute the project through its comprehensive Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) offering, which includes:
- Turbine supply
- Land acquisition
- Balance of plant (BoP)
- Pooling substation (PSS)
- Extra high voltage (EHV) line
- Commissioning
- Operations & maintenance services
The power generated from the project will be connected to the MPPCL state grid.

Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman and Co-Founder, Suzlon Group noted that Ayana Renewable Power has built a 5.5 GW renewable energy portfolio across wind, solar, and round-the-clock renewable power. He highlighted Madhya Pradesh's 55 GW+ wind potential at 150 metres, positioning it as a key state for India's wind energy growth.
Ajay Kapur, Chief Executive Officer, Suzlon Group emphasized the company's end-to-end capabilities and integrated approach, noting that four wind orders have been secured across two states in a short span of time.
