SWI Group Becomes NVIDIA Preferred Cloud Partner

SWI Group (Euronext Amsterdam ticker SWICH) issued a press release on 31 August 2026 announcing that it has joined the NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP) program as a Preferred Partner. The partnership provides SWI with access to NVIDIA’s reference architectures and validated configurations, enabling the deployment of NVIDIA‑accelerated computing infrastructure for a full spectrum of AI workloads, including model training, fine‑tuning, production‑scale inference and emerging agentic AI applications. SWI’s competencies under the program cover compute, networking and enterprise software, aligning with its strategy to operate as a vertically integrated AI compute provider that installs the latest NVIDIA GPUs in its own AI factories and runs an AI cloud platform on NVIDIA AI Enterprise software.

Existing Power and Data‑Center Assets

The firm highlighted its current 3.6 gigawatt (GW) power capacity spread across Europe and the United States. In Europe, SWI has built the AiOnX portfolio, a 2.3 GW collection of data‑center assets located in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Spain, Denmark and Italy; one of these sites is already leased to a hyperscaler tenant. In the United States, SWI recently acquired a majority stake in Genesis Digital Assets—now rebranded as SWI Digital—which contributes an additional 1.3 GW of data‑center capacity and serves as the group’s primary U.S. presence.

New Joint‑Venture Investment

The release also disclosed that Varia US, a vehicle managed by SWI, has entered into a joint‑venture agreement with Brookfield Asset Management valued at USD 693.9 million. The partnership is intended to further expand SWI’s investments in digital infrastructure, although specific deployment plans were not detailed.

Executive Comment

Max‑Hervé George, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SWI Group, stated: “SWI Group takes another step in its journey to becoming a fully vertically integrated global AI player: first came land, power, shell; now chips, tokens and applications. Our collaboration with NVIDIA will help us establish a strong position in Europe, the US and beyond.”
