SynSmart Rasayan Research Private Ltd and Amporin Pharmaceuticals AG announced a collaboration to develop novel small‑molecule therapeutics for degenerative diseases.
SynSmart will synthesize a large library of membrane‑protecting molecules in Mumbai, with possible extensions to follow‑on chemistry and ADME‑PK work.
Amporin aims to block and repair membrane holes caused by misfolded proteins, targeting over 50 diseases including ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and diabetes.
