Profile and qualifications: Mr. Bhutoria is Co-founder & Director of Valtrust, an asset management company. He has over 17 years of experience across investment banking, private equity, and investment management. His expertise includes investment strategy, portfolio management, capital allocation, succession planning, and strategic growth. He manages investment portfolios across public and private markets in India and internationally, with experience spanning PIPE transactions, early-stage investments, and special situations. Sector experience covers industrials, healthcare, financial services, logistics, energy, and media. Previously served as Director at Indcap, a boutique investment bank. Educational qualifications: BSc in Industrial Management from Purdue University, Indiana, USA, and MBA from INSEAD, France. He is among the founders and sponsors of Ashoka University.
Eligibility confirmation: Mr. Bhutoria is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other statutory authority. He satisfies the criteria of independence prescribed under the Companies Act, 2013, and SEBI LODR regulations.
