Key Development

Tamboli Castings Limited (TCL), the wholly owned subsidiary of Tamboli Industries Limited, has secured a comprehensive component development and long-term supply programme from a multibillion-dollar Fortune 100 global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The OEM is described as a world leader in off-highway equipment and advanced mobility solutions.

Selection Process

The selection followed an extensive and competitive global evaluation process involving leading precision component manufacturers from emerging markets. TCL was qualified for direct supply to the OEM's global operations after rigorous assessment of engineering and manufacturing capabilities, quality systems, supply chain performance, and established experience in supporting global OEM programmes.

Programme Details

The programme encompasses over 50 precision-engineered components. Initial development orders have already been received, with subsequent orders expected to be released in successive phases over the coming months.

Execution Timeline

Development activities will commence immediately, followed by customer approvals and a phased transition into commercial production in accordance with the OEM's global sourcing plans. The full transition of the entire component portfolio is anticipated over approximately 2-3 years.

Financial Impact

Upon successful development, customer approvals and complete transition, the programme is expected to offer recurring annual business potential of approximately ₹20 crore. Realization of this potential depends on the pace of customer approvals, business transition, and customer requirements.
