Tata Chemicals Approves ₹100 Crore Salt Capacity Expansion

Tata Chemicals Board approved ₹100 crore investment to debottleneck salt capacity at Mithapur plant.
The project will increase Iodised Vacuum Salt Dried (IVSD) capacity by 82,500 TPA over 12 months.
Investment will be financed through internal accruals to meet growing demand for IVSD products.
Current Mithapur plant operates at 92% utilization of its 1.60 MTPA existing salt capacity.
