Segment-wise Delivery Breakdown:

  • Automotive & Special Products: Achieved best-ever Q2 volumes of ~1.1 million tons, growing 9% QoQ and 19% YoY. Driven by ramp-up of Continuous Annealing and Galvanising lines at Kalinganagar and Combi mill at Jamshedpur.
  • Branded Products & Retail: Achieved best-ever quarterly volumes of ~2.2 million tons. Tata Tiscon grew 7% QoQ (best-ever quarterly volumes), Tata Kosh (galvanised brand) grew 25% QoQ.
  • Construction & Solutions: Achieved volumes of ~0.6 million tons, with ready-to-use solutions registering 32% YoY growth.
  • Engineering and Packaging: Achieved volumes of ~0.4 million tons, up 12% QoQ driven by higher sales to Oil & Gas sector.

Downstream Sales Growth:

  • Cold rolled, Galvanised, Tubes, Tinplate, Wires and Colors products continued to grow
  • Colors achieved best-ever quarterly volumes, up 34% QoQ

E-commerce Performance:

  • Gross Merchandise Value from Tata Steel Aashiyana and DigECA platforms: Rs 2,860 crores for the quarter
  • 30% QoQ growth in e-commerce GMV

International Operations Performance

Tata Steel Netherlands:

  • Liquid steel production: 1.52 million tons in 2QFY27
  • Deliveries: 1.30 million tons
  • Direct Sheet Plant restarted in August 2026 and operating at rated capacity under agreed framework with local regulatory authorities
  • Half-year production: 3.07 million tons
  • Half-year deliveries: 2.70 million tons

Tata Steel UK:

  • Deliveries: 0.38 million tons for the quarter
  • Currently serving customers via downstream processing of purchased substrate
  • Impacted by inventory buildup in UK supply chain ahead of implementation of new safeguard measures on July 1, 2026
