Dividend Declaration
- Board of Directors recommended dividend of Rs. 2.50 (25%) per equity share on face value of Rs. 10 each for Financial Year ended 31st March, 2026
- Dividend recommendation was made at Board Meeting held on Wednesday, 27th May, 2026
- Dividend payment is subject to approval of Shareholders at the 19th Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday, 9th September, 2026
- Record date for dividend payment: Wednesday, 2nd September, 2026
TDS Procedures for Resident Shareholders
- TDS applicable at 10% on dividend amount for resident shareholders
- TDS applicable at 20% if valid PAN not provided or PAN-Aadhaar not linked
- No TDS if total dividend payable to resident individual shareholder does not exceed Rs. 10,000 per year
- No TDS if shareholder provides duly filled and signed Form 121 with valid PAN and meets eligibility conditions
Specific categories and requirements for resident shareholders:
- Insurance Companies: Nil TDS with self-declaration (Annexure 1), self-attested PAN copy, and self-attested IRDAI Registration Certificate
- Government, RBI, Specified Corporations, Mutual Funds: Nil TDS with self-declaration (Annexure 1), self-attested PAN copy, and relevant registration documents
- Alternative Investment Fund Category-I & II: Nil TDS with self-declaration (Annexure 1), self-attested PAN copy, and SEBI AIF registration certificate
- Shareholders exempted from TDS provisions: Nil TDS with self-declaration (Annexure 1), self-attested PAN copy, and documentary evidence supporting exemption status
- All resident shareholders: Rate specified in lower or nil deduction certificate under Section 395(1) of the Act with Company TAN: MUMT14057B
TDS Procedures for Non-Resident Shareholders
- For FII/FPI: TDS at 20% or applicable DTAA rate, whichever lower
- For other Non-Resident Shareholders: TDS at 20% or applicable DTAA rate, whichever lower
- Lower/Nil rate possible with certificate under Section 395 of the Act with Company TAN: MUMT14057B
Documentation required for non-resident shareholders:
- Self-attested copy of PAN or self-declaration if PAN not allotted
- Self-attested copy of Tax Residency Certificate (TRC) for tax year 2026-27, translated and notarized if not in English
- Self-declaration in online filed Form 41 for tax year 2026-27
- Self-declaration (Annexure 2) regarding eligibility for tax treaty benefits, no permanent establishment in India, and beneficial ownership of dividend income
General Instructions
- All TDS rates enhanced by applicable surcharge and cess
- Shareholders in dematerialized form must update details with depository participants
- Highest tax rate applicable across multiple accounts under single PAN will be considered
- Declaration (Annexure 3) required where dividend received by one person but assessable by another
- Company will rely on information as on record date (2nd September, 2026)
- Documents must be submitted by Monday, 31st August, 2026 at https://ris.kfintech.com/form15/forms.aspx?q=0
- No communication on tax determination entertained after deadline
- Shareholders responsible for any income tax demands arising from misrepresentation
