Overview

TCL used its IFA 2026 presence to present the Inspiration Habitat, an AI‑inspired living concept that integrates displays, home appliances, robotics and services into a unified experience. The showcase emphasized how artificial intelligence can move beyond isolated products to deliver seamless, context‑aware interactions throughout the home and beyond.

Flagship Display Products

The centerpiece was the TCL X11L SQD‑Mini LED TV, which combines a Super Mini LED backlight, a Super QLED layer and the WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel. It offers 20,736 precise dimming zones, peaks at 10,000 nits of HDR brightness and covers 100% of the BT.2020 colour gamut. Audio is provided in partnership with Bang & Olufsen. TCL also displayed the X3A OLED+ Gaming Monitor, noted for high contrast and dual‑mode ultra‑high refresh rates, and the Digital Signage TMN Series for professional environments. The flagship Q95K soundbar delivers an 11.1.4‑channel acoustic architecture with Bang & Olufsen tuning.

AI‑Enabled Home Appliances

The FreshIN 3.0 Ultra air conditioner incorporates a T‑AI big‑data model that modulates compressor frequency, delivering up to 37% additional energy savings over its inverter baseline, along with smart voice control that works offline and real‑time air‑quality monitoring. The AI SuperDrum Laundry Tower P9 Ultra uses Generative AI Wash to detect load size, fabric type and dirt level, automatically adjusting water volume, temperature, detergent dosage and cycle time; its triple‑inverter heat pump enables low‑temperature drying. TCL also introduced the Free Built‑in Refrigerator with flexible storage and humidity control, and two AI‑enhanced smart locks – the K11D Pro Dual‑Screen lock with visitor monitoring and the D2 Pro Matter Palm Vein lock offering touchless access.

New Consumer Devices

TCL debuted the P80 Ultra smartphone, part of the P80 Series, featuring a 50 MP 3× periscope telephoto camera, a 1.5K display capable of 3,200 nits brightness and the NXTPAPER technology for reduced eye strain. The P80 Pro shares the same display and camera platform. For tablets, the TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER provides a 12.2‑inch paper‑like screen. Wearable offerings included the RayNeo GT Max AR glasses and RayNeo iO Smart Glasses, while the Tbot smartwatch expands from outdoor safety to interactive desktop companionship. TCL also unveiled the AiMe Family Companion Robot, which offers multimodal interaction, lifelike motion and evolving content for children and parents.

Software and Services

The company announced the broader rollout of Gemini for Google TV™, extending the AI‑driven content‑discovery companion to additional European markets (UK, France, Italy, Spain). Gemini enables conversational, effortless navigation of large‑screen content.

Partnerships and Expert Panels

Audio collaboration with Bang & Olufsen was highlighted across the X11L TV and Q95K soundbar. Design partners such as Roche Bobois, Castelli Milano 1938, Chris Lefteri Design and trend‑forecasting firm WGSN contributed to the upgraded NXTHOME™ concept. Industry experts Natasha Leonnet (Hollywood colourist), Fahad Durrani (Google TV Product Lead) and tech creator Adam Butcher discussed the impact of larger TV sizes on picture quality and the role of AI in transforming TVs into personalized entertainment hubs.
