Overview
On October 22, 2026 the Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) opened at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, India. TCL Zhonghuan occupied Booth H16‑A275 and presented a complete portfolio of high‑performance solar products, including its X‑series high‑efficiency silicon wafers, TCL Solar PV modules (T5 Pro and C2 series), and the BlueArk energy‑storage lineup.
Silicon Wafer Innovation
The X‑series wafers are highlighted for optimized crystal‑growth processes that lower impurity levels and improve material properties, thereby supporting downstream high‑efficiency cell manufacturing. The wafers are compatible with mainstream high‑efficiency technologies such as TOPCon, HJT and xBC, offering cell makers additional options for process optimisation and yield improvement.
PV Module Highlights
TCL Solar displayed two module families:
- T5 Pro – incorporates high‑density encapsulation and a three‑section cell design, delivering 17% higher power generation than conventional half‑cut modules under shading conditions and featuring a temperature coefficient of –0.26%/°C.
- C2 – utilizes back‑contact (BC) technology with a zero‑gap architecture, providing a larger effective power‑generating area, superior low‑light performance, shading tolerance and low degradation rates.
Both series are positioned for utility‑scale, commercial‑and‑industrial (C&I) distributed generation, and residential rooftop applications.
BlueArk Energy‑Storage Solutions
The storage portfolio comprises three products tailored to different market segments:
- BlueArk X1 – an integrated system for residential and small‑business use.
- BlueArk X5 – designed for coordinated operation with PV installations and diesel generators, suitable for remote locations and industrial parks.
- BlueArk W10 – features liquid cooling and AI‑driven early‑warning capabilities to meet the energy‑management needs of C&I customers.
These solutions aim to improve energy utilisation, optimise electricity costs and enhance power‑supply reliability across diverse applications.
Market Context and Commitment
India’s photovoltaic industry continues to expand, with domestic solar cell and module manufacturing capacity increasing steadily. Demand is being driven by utility‑scale solar farms, C&I distributed generation, and residential rooftop projects. The Indian environment—characterised by high temperatures, dust, and salt‑laden coastal conditions—places heightened demands on electrical performance, mechanical reliability and environmental adaptability of PV products.
In response, TCL Zhonghuan affirmed its intention to advance silicon‑wafer technology, broaden product innovation, and deepen technical exchanges and business collaboration with partners throughout the PV value chain, thereby contributing to the global energy transition and a sustainable, low‑carbon future.
