Telus announced plans to build two AI‑focused data centers in Vancouver and expand its Kamloops site to support artificial intelligence workloads.
The three facilities will need over 150 MW of electricity by 2032, indicating significant power demand.
Kamloops center and repurposed Mount Pleasant site are slated to launch later this year, while the downtown Vancouver center targets 2029 operation.
