Project Structure and Implementation
The facility is being developed through the Company's subsidiary, Tembo Classic Engineering Private Limited (TCEPL), as part of its long-term strategy to build capabilities in small arms and ammunition manufacturing. TCEPL has received critical regulatory approvals including:
- Licence from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for manufacture of ammunition of various calibres
- Small-arms manufacturing licence from appropriate authorities

The project aligns with India's broader objectives of strengthening domestic defence production, encouraging indigenous manufacturing, and reducing dependence on imports in strategically important sectors. The initiative supports the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India.
