The Board of Directors of Tenneco Automotive India Private Limited (material subsidiary of Tenneco Clean Air India Limited) at its meeting held on May 28, 2026 approved a capacity expansion proposal for setting up a new factory in Western India.

Expansion / Capex Details

Existing Capacity: ~19.69 million units per annum of Front Strut & Rear Shock Absorbers across all plants

Existing Capacity Utilization: At optimum level

Proposed Capacity Addition: ~2.1 million units per annum of both Front Strut & Rear Shock Absorber

Implementation Timeline: During the next two financial years in a phased manner (FY 2026-27 and FY 2027-28)

Investment Required: ~INR 690 million

Mode of Financing: Internal Accruals

Rationale: Growth in demand and improving manufacturing footprint in Western India
