Tesla will create 1,000 new jobs at its Gruenheide gigafactory by end‑June 2026.
The hiring aims to lift weekly output by roughly 20% starting in Q3, driven by higher Model Y demand.
About 500 temporary staff will be converted to permanent roles during the year, with recruitment beginning in May.
Tesla also seeks several hundred workers for battery‑cell production slated to start in the first half of 2027.
