Tesla registrations in Italy drop 77% in July
Tesla recorded 105 new vehicle registrations in Italy for July 2026, representing a 77% decline compared with July 2025, according to data released by the Italian transport ministry on Monday. The company’s market share for the month fell to 0.09% of total registrations in the country.
The July figure contrasts sharply with June 2026, when Tesla registrations rose 43% month‑on‑month. Over the first seven months of 2026, Tesla sold a cumulative 8,023 new vehicles in Italy, which is a 15.86% increase over the same January‑July period in 2025, and the market share for this seven‑month span reached 0.76%.
