On July 7, 2026, TGI Fridays® announced the opening of a pioneering microbrewery concept at its flagship outlet in Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The venue combines the brand’s signature American menu, handcrafted cocktails, live brewing facilities and contemporary interiors, creating an immersive social destination designed exclusively for the Indian market.
Partnership Structure
The restaurant is operated by Bistro Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., the master franchisee for TGI Fridays® in India, in partnership with Feastary Hospitality LLP, the exclusive franchise partner for North India. The collaboration underscores a strategic alliance aimed at expanding the brand’s footprint across premium retail and lifestyle locations.
Expansion Milestones
According to Kuunal Maiti, CEO of Bistro Hospitality, the Vasant Kunj opening brings the total number of TGI Fridays restaurants in India to six, following the launch of four new outlets and the relaunch of one outlet within the last six months. This represents a doubling of the brand’s footprint from three to six restaurants in the preceding twelve months. The company currently operates outlets in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Gurgaon, Connaught Place and Vasant Kunj, and is evaluating several new partners in the East, West and South regions to further strengthen its nationwide presence.
