The Zora Pre‑Launches The Zora Estate

The Zora Delhi Convention Centre, located at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Lodhi Road in New Delhi, announced the pre‑launch of a new premium venue called The Zora Estate. The space is situated within the centre’s flagship Open Canvas area and has been designed by celebrated wedding and event designer Abhinav Bhagat, founder of Abhinav Bhagat Events.

The Zora Estate is positioned as an ultra‑luxury offering, featuring a newly designed entrance and courtyard that blend Indian design sensibility with a global aesthetic. Unlike the centre’s other spaces—Ballroom, Myst, Glasshouse and Open Canvas—the estate will operate on a deliberately limited scale, targeting only nine to ten events per year. Showarounds of the venue are strictly invite‑only, reserved for select media, event planners and prospective clients rather than open public viewings.

Since its opening, The Zora has hosted more than 125 high‑profile events, establishing itself as one of Delhi’s most sought‑after destinations for large‑scale luxury celebrations. The pre‑launch event on 10 July gave invited media, wedding professionals, influencers and industry partners an exclusive first look before the venue becomes available for broader bookings.

In a statement, Abhinav Bhagat said, “The first feeling we want guests to have when they enter is that they should feel the luxury in the air. The venue has been designed to feel breathtaking from the very first moment, with a beautiful entrance and courtyard. The aesthetic works for corporate events, weddings, sangeets, and every kind of celebration. We wanted to create something Indian, but with a global approach.”

Vivek Tyagi, General Manager – Operations at The Zora, added, “The Zora has always been built as a canvas for imagination. With The Zora Estate designed by Abhinav Bhagat, we’re creating a new venue experience that brings together premium infrastructure, central Delhi accessibility, and one of India’s most recognised design visions.”

The launch reflects a broader shift in India’s event industry toward venues that are not only large in scale but also experience‑led, visually immersive and adaptable across formats. The Zora Estate is intended to meet this demand by offering a design‑forward space for weddings, corporate events, social celebrations and luxury gatherings, available only to a select few through its invite‑only model.
