ThinkPalm Technologies, a provider of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and digital sustainability solutions, announced on 10 August 2026 that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Singapore Polytechnic (SP) to collaborate on AI‑driven IIoT solutions aimed at measuring sustainability performance for Singapore’s small‑ and medium‑size enterprises (SMEs) and start‑ups.
Objectives and Scope
The collaboration seeks to accelerate the early adoption of sustainability measurement tools across Singapore’s business community and to reinforce Singapore’s ambition to become Asia’s premier carbon hub. By leveraging SP’s applied technology education expertise and ThinkPalm’s IIoT and artificial‑intelligence capabilities, the partners intend to make actionable sustainability data more accessible to SMEs.
Collaboration Details
Under the MOU, SP and ThinkPalm will co‑develop IIoT solutions while providing SP students with opportunities to participate in sensor‑design projects and other joint industry initiatives. Singapore Polytechnic has invited ThinkPalm to jointly create a curriculum framework focused on industry‑driven projects, and ThinkPalm has joined SP’s industry partner network, with plans for future seminars and engagement activities.

ThinkPalm’s AI‑powered IIoT platform, NetvirE, is expected to underpin future sustainability initiatives arising from the partnership.

The agreement creates pathways for SP students to undertake internships and project work at ThinkPalm’s offices in Kochi, Trivandrum and Chennai, thereby linking academic learning with practical industry exposure.
