International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Results – May 2026
The International School Bangalore (TISB), based in Bengaluru, released its May 2026 IB Diploma results on 6 July 2026 via a PRNewswire announcement. The cohort comprised 140 diploma‑earning students, achieving a class average of 37 points. Three students – Aarushi Singh, Supriya Krishnamurthy and Rishika Aggarwal – attained the maximum score of 45 points. Five students secured 44 points and six students earned 43 points. In total, 40 students scored 40 points or higher, placing them among the top‑performing IB candidates globally.
The three perfect‑score students have secured university placements at Johns Hopkins University (Aarushi Singh), Cambridge University (Supriya Krishnamurthy) and the Georgia Institute of Technology (Rishika Aggarwal). The press release also listed a broad range of elite institutions that have offered places to other high‑achieving graduates, including MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Caltech, University of Pennsylvania, Brown, Dartmouth, Columbia, Imperial College London, UCL, LSE, King’s College London, McGill, University of Toronto, Waterloo, UBC, Ashoka, Christ University and FLAME University.
Dr Bindu Hari, Vice‑Chairperson and Director of TISB, NAFL and the NPS Group of Institutions, emphasized that the results reflect the school’s commitment to high academic standards, noting the class average of 37, the three perfect scores and the 40 students above the 40‑point threshold as evidence of “exceptional ambition, discipline and depth of learning.” Mrs Kate Reynolds, Principal of TISB, added that the school celebrates both the highest achievers and those who have shown remarkable growth, highlighting the cohort’s resilience, focus and maturity throughout the Diploma Programme.
