Cumulative investment in the San Antonio site now totals $8.3 billion since its 2003 groundbreaking.

Toyota directly employs roughly 48,000 people across 11 U.S. manufacturing plants. The North Carolina plant began assembling automotive batteries for electrified vehicles in 2025.
