Order Details
Transrail Lighting Limited has secured new orders worth ₹574 crore primarily in its core Domestic Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business. The majority of these orders comprise reconductoring of Transmission Lines using the company's new age carbon core HTLS conductors manufactured at its Silvassa plant.
Order Composition
The order wins include:
- EPC of Transmission Lines
- Transmission line reconductoring projects with supply of HTLS Conductors from company factories
- Supply of Poles
- EPC contract for construction of Transmission line from a large private sector Indian developer
Order Book Update
With these new orders, the company's order intake for the year grows to ₹1,609 crore. Additionally, the company holds L1 position for orders worth ₹694 crore.
Manufacturing Capacity Expansion
The company has significantly expanded its manufacturing capabilities:
- Tower manufacturing capacity doubled to 172,400 MTPA
- Conductor manufacturing capacity increased by 70% to 40,800 KMPA
