The certification is positioned as critical as India tightens cybersecurity, data‑governance, and supply‑chain requirements for video‑surveillance products, especially for vendors targeting government, public‑sector, and smart‑infrastructure projects.

Technology Validation

The STQC assessment validates TUTK’s patented peer‑to‑peer (P2P) connectivity technology, which employs device authentication and certificate binding to minimise unauthorised device registration and connection hijacking. Communication security is reinforced through DTLS/SRTP‑based encryption, safeguarding both connection establishment and live video streams. When network address translation (NAT) or firewall restrictions block direct P2P links, TUTK’s Relay services preserve remote connectivity while ensuring that video and data remain encrypted in transit.

Security Controls and Cloud Governance

TUTK provides comprehensive documentation covering P2P SDK provenance, maintenance procedures, and security controls. It assists device manufacturers in implementing access‑control mechanisms, connection‑logging, and device‑level security policies, thereby meeting supply‑chain transparency requirements. The cloud architecture further supports access control, encrypted transmission, operational logging, and audit‑trail capabilities. Deployment models can be customised for data residency, access‑management, and operational‑governance needs, enabling vendors to simplify system integration, gain visibility into device and service operations, and build a scalable foundation for future device expansion.

Flexible Deployment Options

Two modular deployment options are offered:

  • Private Deployment – Customers can install the P2P infrastructure within their own data centre or designated private cloud, granting greater control over data, systems, and operations.
  • Platform as a Service (PaaS) – TUTK’s managed cloud infrastructure reduces deployment and maintenance complexity while allowing scaling with device and connection volumes.

Both options allow independent or combined deployment of P2P connectivity, Relay services, and cloud management, helping vendors balance compliance, operational control, infrastructure investment, and time‑to‑market considerations.
