Strategic Context
Management Commentary:
Peyman Kargar, President, International Business, stated: "Europe is our new frontier, and TVS Motor is bringing RTX 300 for the most experienced riders and the most demanding regulation in the world. The RTX 300: a motorcycle that carries the technology, the build quality and the warranty of a far more expensive machine, and makes it available to riders at the beginning of their journey."
Giovanni Notarbartolo di Furnari, General Manager, Italy, added: "Italy is one of the most knowledgeable motorcycle markets in Europe, and riders here judge a machine by how it behaves on the road. That is why we chose to put the RTX 300 into the hands of the press on Tuscan roads."
Vimal Sumbly, SVP and Business Head, TVS Premium and TVS Racing, stated: "The RTX 300 was built by a team that has spent years making premium motorcycles for riders who use them hard and every day. Europe asks different questions of a machine, and answering them meant changing the suspension and the electronics."
Market Positioning
The RTX 300 is positioned for two target groups: youthful and tech-savvy A2 licence holders moving up, and returning riders coming back to motorcycling. The product represents TVS Motor's European strategy focused on engineering developed for demanding road conditions without compromises usually attached to accessible price points.
