Campaign Launch Details

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank launched a new brand campaign titled 'Nothing Small About Us' on September 18, 2026. The campaign features acclaimed actor and Padma Shri awardee R. Madhavan as the Bank's Brand Ambassador.

Campaign Rationale

The campaign addresses customer insights that the word 'Small' in the bank's name can create perceptions that the bank: caters primarily to small-ticket financial needs, has a limited range of banking products and offerings, or operates at a smaller scale. The campaign aims to showcase the current scale and comprehensive offerings of Ujjivan SFB.

Bank Operations Scale

Ujjivan SFB serves over 1 crore customers through 800+ branches across 26 States and Union Territories. As of June 30, 2026, the bank's gross loan book stood at ₹42,903 crore, with deposits of ₹48,129 crore and a Net worth of ₹7,144 crore.

Product Offerings

The bank offers a comprehensive range of banking solutions including savings, deposits, lending, business banking, forex and NRI services, as well as investment and wealth solutions. Loan offerings range from ₹6,000 to ₹250 crore across distinct product categories.

Brand Ambassador Selection

R. Madhavan was selected due to the strong alignment between the values he represents (integrity, humility, versatility, authenticity, and trust) and those of the Bank. Madhavan conducted his own due diligence before associating with the brand.

Management Commentary

Lakshman Velayutham, Chief Marketing Officer, stated: "The Ujjivan of today is very different from that perception, with an extensive branch network and a comprehensive range of banking and lending solutions catering to diverse customer needs."

Campaign Media Plan

The integrated campaign will be amplified across television, print, digital, OTT/CTV, outdoor, social media and Ujjivan's branch network.
