Key Appointment Details
The Board of Directors of UltraTech Cement Limited, based on the recommendation of the Nomination, Remuneration and Compensation Committee, approved the appointment of Mr. Ashish Chandra as Chief Manufacturing Officer (Designate) of the Company with effect from 16th September, 2026. He will be designated as a Senior Management Personnel from this date.
Transition Plan
Mr. E R Raj Narayanan will relinquish his position as the Chief Manufacturing Officer of the Company on 31st March, 2027, after overseeing a planned transition. Mr. Chandra will assume the full role of Chief Manufacturing Officer from 1st April, 2027.

Brief Profile:
Mr. Ashish Chandra has approximately 33 years of post-qualification experience in the manufacturing industry. He has held leadership roles spanning large-scale manufacturing operations, project execution, and operational transformation. Mr. Chandra is an accomplished technocrat who has contributed to the development of India's first 980 MPa cold-rolled steel. He has authored eight technical publications and holds five granted patents. He is a Mechanical Engineer from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, and has completed the Senior Leadership Programme at Brown University.
