Union Bank Appoints Debasish Prusty Government Nominee Director

Union Bank of India appointed Dr. Debasish Prusty, Additional Secretary at Ministry of Finance, as Government Nominee Director effective immediately.
Dr. Prusty brings 26+ years of experience in public finance, sustainable development, and international climate policy negotiations.
The appointment was made by Central Government notification, replacing Shri Rohan Chand Thakur, with no disqualifications or director relationships.
Dr. Prusty holds PhD in Management, MPhil in Environmental Sciences, and IMF training in finance for macro-economists.
