United Spirits Limited sells 100% stake in Royal Challengers Sports Pvt Ltd (RCB franchise owner) for INR 166.6 bn in an all-cash deal.
Buyers are a consortium: Aditya Birla Group, Times of India Group, Bolt Ventures, and Blackstone's BXPE strategy via a Share Purchase Agreement dated March 24, 2026.
Transaction is subject to CCI and BCCI approvals; upon completion USL will cease to hold any shareholding in RCSPL.
RCSPL contributed Rs. 504 crore revenue (1.9%) and Rs. 321 crore net worth (4.1%) of USL's standalone financials for FY2024-25.
