V2 Retail Limited provided a business update for the first quarter of FY27 (Q1 FY27), filed as an intimation under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The company reported a strong standalone revenue of ₹997 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. This represents a significant year-on-year growth of 58% compared to the ₹630 crore reported in Q1 FY26.

A key operational metric, Same Store Sales Growth (SSSG), was a robust 7.5% for the quarter. This performance was attributed to the company's data-driven assortment strategy and product-first philosophy, which resulted in higher sell-through and lower markdowns.

Store productivity, measured by Monthly Sales per Square Foot (PSF), reached ₹886 in Q1 FY27. This was achieved despite a higher proportion of newly opened stores in the network and was driven by sharper merchandising, faster inventory replenishment, and disciplined inventory management.

The company continued its network expansion by successfully opening 57 new stores and closing 1 store during the quarter. This expansion was focused on high-potential Tier 2 and Tier 3 consumption markets. As of June 30, 2026, the company's retail footprint expanded to approximately 40.7 lakh sq. ft. across 381 stores.

The stated standalone revenue from operations for the quarter is subject to a limited review/audit by the company's Statutory Auditors.
