Vaar Energi, an Eni subsidiary, announced a $360 million investment to boost output at the Arctic Goliat oilfield.
The project aims to raise oil production from 2029 and extend the field’s life to around 2050, adding roughly ten years.
Pipeline will link Goliat to the Snoehvit gas facility, allowing gas removal and export to Hammerfest LNG under a gas‑bank deal.
Goliat produced over 22,000 barrels of oil per day in 2025, with gas reinjected due to lack of export capacity.
