Vardhman Textiles Limited has made an investment of ₹24.46 crore by subscribing to 4,64,926 equity shares of face value ₹10 each in Renew Green (MPR Four) Private Limited. This investment represents a 31.2% equity stake in the company post-allotment.
The investment is part of setting up a 19 MW AC Wind Solar Hybrid Power Plant comprising 26.4 MW wind capacity and 15 MW solar capacity at District Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.
This investment follows previous intimations dated 23rd April 2026 regarding:
- Execution of Share Subscription and Shareholder's Agreement (SSSA) with Renew Green Energy Solutions Private Limited (Promoter) and Renew Green (MPR Four) Private Limited (Power Producer)
- Execution of Captive Power Purchase Agreement with Renew Green (MPR Four) Private Limited (Power Producer)
- Approval of investment by way of acquisition of 31.2% equity stake
The company also referenced a further intimation dated 29th May 2026 regarding amendment in the SSSA.
