Project Commencement
VB Group, a Mumbai‑based real estate developer, performed a Bhoomi Poojan ceremony on 3 September 2026 to mark the formal start of its upcoming commercial development in Vartak Nagar, Thane. The ceremony was attended by Honourable Mrs Lata Eknath Shinde, Honourable Mr Pratap Sarnaik (Minister of Transport, Government of Maharashtra), Mr Purvesh Sarnaik (President of Yuva Sena), and members of the VB Group leadership team.
Project Details
The Vartak Nagar project is envisioned as a contemporary Grade A office complex offering spaces from approximately 700 sq ft to 15,000 sq ft, designed to meet the needs of enterprises, professionals, retailers and consumers. VB Group estimates a topline potential of roughly ₹700 crore for the development, emphasizing high‑quality construction, thoughtful design, modern infrastructure and sustainability.
Company Context
Founder Bhushan Bhanushali stated that a successful commercial project must create conditions for enterprise growth and ideas, and highlighted the ₹700 crore potential. CEO Rishikesh R Ranga noted that the ceremony underscores VB Group’s commitment to Thane, where the firm already has three projects—Veer Vishwa, Veer Yashodeep and Veer Enclave—scheduled for delivery by the first quarter of 2027. VB Group, founded in 2008 as a civil contractor, entered property development in 2010 and was formally organized as a group in 2020. To date it has delivered about 1.3 million sq ft, has over 1.8 million sq ft of ongoing projects, and a pipeline of approximately 2.5 million sq ft.
