The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment's Venture Capital Fund for Scheduled Castes (VCF-SC) provided financial assistance of ₹4.35 crore in 2016 to Dartyens Power Pvt. Ltd., owned by Dasari Kumari, located in Nalgonda, Telangana. The venture capital assistance comprised equity and optionally convertible debentures and was aimed at supporting the establishment of a commercially viable solar power project.

The funding enabled the successful commissioning and operation of a 1 MW Solar Power Plant that generates clean and sustainable energy. The enterprise has consistently achieved its expected performance targets and generates stable revenue in line with planned financial projections. The project has improved operational efficiency and strengthened environmental sustainability by promoting renewable energy generation in the region.

The intervention has created significant socio-economic impact, with the enterprise operating successfully with improved financial growth. It has generated both direct and indirect employment opportunities for local people and established strong market linkages with clients, ensuring sustained business expansion and long-term commercial viability while contributing to India's clean energy mission.

Entrepreneur Dasari Kumari stated that the VCF-SC support enabled them to establish the solar power project successfully, strengthened business operations, improved financial sustainability, and helped generate clean energy while creating employment opportunities for the local community. The success demonstrates how targeted financial support under VCF-SC is empowering Scheduled Caste entrepreneurs to establish sustainable enterprises in emerging sectors such as renewable energy.
