Vedanta Limited has disclosed that the name of its subsidiary, Malco Energy Limited, has been changed to Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited with effect from June 09, 2026.
The change was approved by the Registrar of Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
The disclosure is made in furtherance to previous intimations filed by the Company, specifically referring to letter no. VEDL/Sec./SE/26-27/10 dated April 20, 2026.
The announcement includes a letter from Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited (formerly Malco Energy Limited) confirming the name change effective June 09, 2026.
