Venus Pipes & Tubes Limited announced the commencement of operations for a part of its dedicated pipe spooling manufacturing capacity ahead of the previously planned timeline of December 2026. The early commissioning represents a milestone in the company's expansion into value-added pipe spooling solutions.

The company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) worth ₹185 crore from a data center customer for pipe spooling solutions. Conversion of this LOI into firm orders is expected to commence in the coming days.

The balance manufacturing capacity is planned to be operationalized in a phased manner over the next few months. The early commissioning was undertaken proactively to establish manufacturing readiness in advance of anticipated customer orders, enabling faster execution and dispatch once orders are received.

Management Commentary

Arun Kothari, Managing Director, stated: "The commencement of pipe spooling operations ahead of schedule marks an important step in our expansion into value-added piping solutions. We have taken this step proactively to establish production readiness ahead of the anticipated conversion of our LOI into firm order. This will help us reduce lead times and facilitate faster execution and dispatch once orders are received. We expect the conversion of the LOI into orders to begin in the coming days and plan to operationalise the remaining capacity over the next few months. We believe this approach will strengthen our ability to respond to customer requirements and expand our participation in the growing data centre infrastructure segment."
