VinFast India’s 60th Dealership and First 3S Outlet in Bihar

On Friday, August 7, 2026, VinFast Auto India, the Indian subsidiary of the global EV maker VinFast (NASDAQ: VFS) and a part of Vietnam’s Vingroup JSC, announced the opening of its 60th retail outlet in India. The new outlet, located on NH‑30 Bypass Road, Paijawa, Patna, Bihar, is the first 3S (sales, service, support) dealership for the brand in the state and was inaugurated by Mr. Harsh Raj, Dealer Principal of Patliputra Motors Private Limited, the local partner that developed the facility.

The dealership spans 11,500 square feet, built to VinFast’s global retail standards, and houses a 3,000‑square‑foot showroom where customers can experience the company’s electric vehicle range. The centre provides a one‑stop experience covering vehicle discovery, purchase, maintenance and after‑sales care.

VinFast India’s CEO, Mr. Tapan Ghosh, stated that the milestone underscores the company’s rapid expansion and its commitment to bringing premium electric mobility to emerging markets in eastern India. He reiterated the target of establishing 75 dealerships across more than 60 cities by the end of 2026, signalling a continued push beyond tier‑1 metros into tier‑2 and tier‑3 locations.

The product portfolio highlighted at the launch includes the VF 6 and VF 7 premium electric SUVs, both awarded 5‑star Bharat NCAP safety ratings, and the VF MPV 7, a seven‑seater EV with an ARAI‑certified range of 517 km and fast‑charging capability from 10 % to 70 % in roughly 30 minutes. Ownership benefits comprise roadside assistance, three years of complimentary maintenance, and warranty coverage of up to ten years or 200,000 km, depending on the model. Additional programmes such as the Value Assured Programme (pre‑defined buy‑back values) and complimentary charging on the V‑Green network are offered until March 31, 2029. The company also promotes its “Trade Gas for Electric” scheme to facilitate conversion from internal‑combustion vehicles.

VinFast’s broader Indian strategy includes local manufacturing, development of charging infrastructure, strategic partnerships, and a circular battery value chain to support India’s transition to sustainable mobility.
