The VF MPV 7 sits on a 2,840 mm wheelbase and offers a 204 PS (150 kW) power output with 280 Nm of torque. It is certified by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) for a driving range of 517 km on a single charge. DC fast‑charging can raise the battery from 10 % to 70 % in approximately 30 minutes, and a portable home charger is supplied as standard.
Interior and practicality
The cabin accommodates seven passengers with a usable third row, dedicated third‑row air‑conditioning controls, PM 2.5 air filtration, multiple USB charging ports, and remote‑AC control via a smartphone app. The second‑row seats slide, recline and tumble forward, while the third row folds 50:50. With the rear seats fully folded, luggage capacity expands to 1,240 liters.
Ownership cost advantages
Assuming a monthly travel distance of 1,500 km, a conventional diesel MPV in India can incur fuel expenses ranging from several tens of thousands up to more than INR 100,000 per year. By contrast, the VF MPV 7’s electricity cost is only a fraction of that amount, especially with VinFast’s free charging at V‑Green stations available until March 2029. Additional cost‑saving measures include three‑year or 36,000 km complimentary maintenance, a seven‑year/160,000 km vehicle warranty, a ten‑year/200,000 km battery warranty, and complimentary roadside assistance throughout the standard warranty period. Customers switching from internal‑combustion‑engine vehicles are eligible for transition support worth INR 196,000.
