VinFast (NASDAQ: VFS), a subsidiary of Vingroup JSC, announced the launch of the VF MPV 7, a seven‑seat electric multi‑purpose vehicle aimed at Indian families. The model combines a spacious cabin, modern technology, and the lower operating costs of an electric powertrain.
The VF MPV 7 measures 4,740 mm in overall length with a 2,840 mm wheelbase, providing ample interior space. With all seven seats occupied, the boot offers 126 L of cargo capacity; folding the third‑row seats expands this to 606 L, and folding both rear rows yields a maximum of 1,240 L. The second‑row seats feature a 60:40 split, sliding, reclining, and one‑touch tumble functions, while the third‑row seats recline, have adjustable headrests, and include dedicated air‑conditioning controls. Air vents and a PM2.5 filter serve all three rows, ensuring individualized climate comfort.
Performance is delivered by a 150 kW electric motor that produces 280 Nm of torque and drives the front wheels. The VF MPV 7 is equipped with a 60.13 kWh usable battery, delivering a claimed 517 km range under the MIDC test cycle. DC fast charging at up to 80 kW can raise the state of charge from 10 % to 70 % in 30 minutes. Ownership incentives include a seven‑year or 160,000 km vehicle warranty, a ten‑year or 200,000 km battery warranty, free scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 km (whichever occurs first), and complimentary charging at eligible V‑Green stations until 31 March 2029. Free roadside assistance is provided for the duration of the standard vehicle warranty.
