Overview
Visa showcased live Agentic Commerce payment experiences at Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai, collaborating with Federal Bank, IndusInd Bank, RBL Bank, Cashfree Payments, CCAvenue, Juspay, Paytm Payments Services, PayU, Pine Labs and Razorpay. The demos illustrated AI‑powered journeys that move consumers from discovery through decision‑making to payment, leveraging Visa’s tokenisation and Visa Payment Passkey authentication to maintain security and consumer control.
Whitepaper Launch
Visa announced the publication of the whitepaper titled “Frontier AI: A New Era of Cyber Resilience”. The paper was launched by Subra Kumaraswamy, Chief Information Security Officer, Visa, and Suresh Sethi, Group Country Manager, India and South Asia, Visa. It introduces the Visa Vulnerability Agentic Harness (VVAH), an open‑source, multi‑model security pipeline that supports vulnerability discovery, validation, prioritisation, remediation and fix validation at scale. The whitepaper shifts the performance metric focus from Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) to Mean Time to Adapt (MTTA), measuring the interval from AI‑discovered exploitability to a validated production fix. Visa is offering VVAH as a digital public good intended to secure the entire financial ecosystem.
Strategic Implications
The announcements reinforce Visa’s vision of powering the trust infrastructure for a digital nation, aiming to enable intelligent, secure and seamless payments for consumers, merchants, fintechs and financial institutions across India.
