The 27th PHOTO & IMAGE SHANGHAI (P&I 2026) will be held July 23‑26 2026 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.
The event will host more than 300 exhibitors and nearly 500 brands, covering a 60,000 sqm area and showcasing cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, post‑production software, printing solutions, live‑streaming tech, AI‑powered creative tools, generative imaging, photo‑editing platforms and related services.
The exhibition theme “Beyond the Lens, Imaging the Future” emphasizes AI imaging, content‑creation technologies and emerging visual trends across photography, video, live streaming and creator‑driven commerce.
Pre‑registration opened in April and has increased by 18.5% compared with the same period in 2025, indicating strong early visitor momentum from enthusiasts, professional creators, group visitors and international buyers.
On‑site programmes include new product launches, technical presentations, industry forums, workshops, interactive experience zones, pop‑up photo studios and creator activities, plus themed exhibitions such as the 2nd Yangtze River Delta University Teacher‑Student Vision Art Joint Exhibition, Travel Photography China ecological carnival, video art case studies, and fashion & portrait photography exhibition.
Winning entries from the “Exploring the Infinite Possibilities” photography and video competition will be displayed onsite and on P&I’s online platforms.
