Vodafone Buys CK Hutchison Stake $5.8bn

Vodafone Group will purchase CK Hutchison's 49% stake in VodafoneThree for £4.3 billion ($5.8 billion).
The deal gives Vodafone full ownership of the UK’s largest mobile operator, which serves over 28 million customers.
VodafoneThree’s enterprise value is about £13.85 billion, and the merger was completed in May 2025.
Vodafone will fund the acquisition using its existing cash reserves under a capital reduction and share cancellation agreement.
