Overview
Voqalize, a Bengaluru‑based voice AI platform, announced that it now provides infrastructure enabling existing applications, websites and AI agents to add a two‑way voice interface that can listen, see on‑screen context, respond and act without the need to rebuild the underlying software.
Platform Capabilities
The solution can be deployed in roughly an hour through either a Plug & Play model—where Voqalize manages the AI agent and voice experience—or a developer integration that allows businesses to embed Voqalize’s voice capabilities into their own back‑ends while retaining control of their AI agents and workflows. The platform supports more than 60 global and Indic languages, addressing the multilingual nature of Indian internet usage and improving accessibility for users across literacy and input constraints.
Early Deployments
Initial customers are using Voqalize for in‑app assistants in mortgage servicing workflows, legal clause review, and authenticated banking support, demonstrating applicability across financial, legal and real‑estate domains.
Industry Context
Apple’s iOS 27, released in September 2026, enables Siri to read screen content and take actions inside apps, while Google reports that roughly one in five Gemini Live conversations now incorporate a camera or screen‑share and that voice is used in 63 % of interactions across Gemini’s more than one‑billion monthly users. A Censuswide survey of 700 business leaders and consumers conducted for Voices (published 28 January 2026) found that 55 % of consumers consider voice their primary AI interface, yet only 29 % of companies have deployed customer‑facing voice AI.
Market Landscape
Dictation and notetaking apps are among the fastest‑growing consumer AI categories. Wispr, valued at $2 billion, and Granola, valued at $1.5 billion, have built large user bases on the premise that users prefer speaking once transcription quality is sufficient. Wispr reports that after six months, its average user generates 72 % of their characters by voice. Granola is expanding from a meeting notetaker to a broader “context layer” for corporate AI, while Superhuman acquired the notetaker Fathom in September 2026.
Vision and Quotes
Co‑founder Sripathi Krishnan stated that voice is transitioning from a typing substitute to the default interface for apps, enabling continuous conversational interactions that can listen, respond and act on screen content, including mid‑task direction changes. He added that the next billion people coming online will “talk their way on” the internet in whatever mix of languages they use at home.
Co‑founder Samkeet Jain emphasized that soon users will judge an app by how well it understands them, likening it to judging a shop by whether the clerk grasps the customer’s request.
Recognition
Voqalize was named one of the 30 products in YourStory’s Vibecode30 2026, a showcase of emerging AI‑native builders in India.
