Voyager Technologies shares rose 6% after-hours on April 16, 2026, following NASA's selection for the seventh Private Astronaut Mission (VOYG-1).
The VOYG-1 contract, slated for launch no earlier than 2028, supports NASA's plan to shift low-Earth-orbit operations to private sector.
Voyager will use the mission to test life-support, crew protocols and systems for future lunar surface and deep-space platforms.
The company also highlighted its existing ISS commercial airlock, investment in Max Space expandable habitats, and Starlab commercial station development.
