VYYB AI Launches VYYB SONIC, an AI‑Powered Background Music Platform
On October 14, 2026, VYYB AI Technologies Ltd, a venture founded by former TikTok, MX Player, Disney and Times Network executive Nikhil Gandhi and headquartered at the DIFC Dubai AI Campus, announced the launch of VYYB SONIC. The platform is an AI‑driven background music solution designed for commercial spaces, powered by the company’s proprietary Tringbox AI music engine.
VYYB SONIC utilizes contextual inputs—including venue type, time of day, day of the week, weather and temperature—to dynamically select music tracks. This approach moves beyond static playlists, allowing businesses to adapt background music throughout the day. The service draws from a repertoire of more than one million tracks and can be accessed via web browsers, Android and iOS applications, as well as standard devices such as phones, tablets, laptops and computers. It integrates with existing audio equipment without requiring additional hardware.
For operators with multiple locations, VYYB SONIC provides centralized programming, scheduling and playback management through a single dashboard, simplifying day‑to‑day operations. The company is initially targeting retail, hospitality, fitness and wellness venues across the GCC, the broader Middle East, Europe and Southeast Asia.
The product roadmap includes VYYB ATMOS, focused on intelligent climate optimisation, and VYYB AURA, aimed at contextual scenting; both remain under development. The longer‑term vision, VYYB AMBIENCE, seeks to combine sound, climate and scent into a unified sensory intelligence platform. VYYB AI also plans to explore edge AI and computer‑vision applications in commercial environments.
Founder and CEO Nikhil Gandhi stated, “VYYB AI is made in the UAE and built for the world. We begin with music through VYYB SONIC, using contextual AI to help businesses adapt music to their environments and simplify its management across venues… Over time, we aim to explore how sound, climate and scent can work together to help businesses manage their physical environments more effectively.”
