VA TECH WABAG LIMITED ('WABAG') has secured a repeat order from Reliance Industries Limited ('RIL') for the Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply, Erection & Commissioning of an Effluent Treatment Plant ('ETP') at the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex (DAGEGC) in Jamnagar.

The order is classified as a 'Medium' domestic order, which according to the company's note means an order inflow value between ₹100 crore and ₹250 crore. The project is scheduled to be completed within 13 months from the award date.

The ETP will incorporate state-of-the-art technologies including chemical and biological treatment processes, along with a sludge treatment system that features low-temperature drying for efficient sludge management.

This order represents a repeat business from RIL, indicating a long-standing relationship between the two companies. According to Mr. Sivakumar V, Senior General Manager – Sales and Marketing, India Cluster, this order "reinforces our long-standing relationship with RIL, a key customer, and reflects the continued trust and confidence RIL places in our capabilities."

The company confirmed that neither the promoter/promoter group nor group companies have any interest in RIL, and the order does not constitute a related party transaction. All transactions are conducted at arm's length.
