The new model is positioned as a bathroom‑specific solution that combines fine sediment filtration with additional treatment media in a transparent ABS housing, allowing users to visually inspect the cartridge and collected debris.
Product Features
The HL-12-PP incorporates a one‑micron polypropylene filtration layer designed to trap fine sediment, dust and rust particles. The cartridge also contains KDF media, zeolite, polyphosphate antiscalant balls and WaterLabs’ proprietary FOF compound, which together aim to reduce chlorine and manage scale formation. Performance depends on incoming water quality, usage patterns and operating conditions; the polypropylene layer targets suspended particles while the antiscalant component mitigates scale buildup. The filter is intended for shower and tap applications only, is not a drinking‑water purifier, and does not reduce total dissolved solids. It is suitable for hot water within specified temperature and pressure limits, and customers are advised to verify compatibility with fittings before installation. The compact design fits standard shower or tap outlets, and replacement cartridges enable renewal of the filtration component without replacing the entire housing.
