Director Qualifications and Background

Mr. Anil Kumar Jha is a seasoned power sector professional with over 48 years of experience in power generation, project management, renewable energy, regulatory affairs and dispute resolution. He previously served as Chairman & Managing Director and Director (Technical) of NTPC Limited and played a key role in advancing the company's renewable energy initiatives.

Post his superannuation from NTPC in 2017, he served as a Member of the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission and as a member of the Global Expert Advisory Council of the International Solar Alliance (ISA). He has also been associated with various expert committees constituted by the Government of India for resolution of contractual disputes.

He has served on the Boards of several domestic and international power sector companies and has held positions as Independent Director of L&T Power Development Limited and Nabha Power Limited. He is presently an Independent Director of McNally Bharat Engineering Company Limited.
