Welspun Corp Limited has disclosed the successful incorporation of Welspun Slagexcel Private Limited (WSPL) as an associate company. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, issued the Certificate of Incorporation on 31st August, 2026.
WSPL will engage in manufacturing Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) through the Slag Granulation Process. The company has been incorporated with an initial paid-up share capital of ₹1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh only), consisting of 10,000 equity shares of ₹10 each.
Welspun Corp Limited has subscribed to 2,600 equity shares of ₹10 each, totaling ₹26,000, which represents 26% of the paid-up share capital of WSPL. This investment establishes WSPL as an Associate Company of Welspun Corp Limited.
This disclosure is made in furtherance to the company's previous disclosure dated 24th July, 2026 regarding the proposed incorporation and under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
