White Cliff Minerals Shares Surge After Hancock Prospecting Stake

On 15 September 2026, White Cliff Minerals announced that Hancock Prospecting had agreed to subscribe for approximately 500 million shares of the company. The subscription values the investment at A$8.8 million (US$6.28 million) based on a price of A$0.017 per share, which was the last closing price. The transaction grants Hancock Prospecting, owned by Australia’s richest person Gina Rinehart, a 13.5% equity stake in White Cliff Minerals.

Following the announcement, White Cliff Minerals’ share price jumped as much as 26.5% to A$0.022, reaching its highest level since 18 June 2026.
